Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio

The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist is the only signed painting by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.
This painting is rarely out of the island. Also look out for the smaller painting depicting St Jerome. St John’s Co Cathedral Museum, Republic Street

Gobelins tapestries woven in France for Grand Master Ramon Perellos. An intact collection that has remained so for more than 300 years.
